A little stitching...

Not much to report as I have been keeping up with my Stitch Therapy and have started a little Christmas gift stitching. Can't show that yet! Here are my latest blocks.

 Audrey has just finished this amazing embroidery that was featured in the latest Molly Makes magazine. She made it a little bigger and stitched it with 1 strand. It is so amazing!

 Here are some of the lovely flowers in our garden. It is warming up finally for Spring.

I have continued working on my Stitch Therapy blocks. Here are the latest ones.They are fun to stitch each day but there is still that feeling that it has to be done! Just a bit of pressure.

 I do need to start thinking about Christmas stitching for gifts. This little quilt was started a little while ago. The pattern from Giggle Buttons and some of the special buttons were purchased many years ago. It was a fun stitch and I am pleased with the result. It needed making to use some of my button stash! I even hand quilted most of it.

And I made some scones!

 I also finished my chatelaine by Anni Downs started at Stitch the Day away in Queensland.

 We had the little miss last Tuesday and we had an adventure on the bus to the library and the shops. It was good fun and there was a bit of reading on the way home.

We managed to get a few pictures with the kids and Ma and even us!

Ma is on her way home now on the train....actually she would be nearly there. She is amazing for 88 years old!

Family

It has been special to have Ma visiting this week. She had her second cataract repaired last week and she is doing amazingly well. We went to a new park with the grandchildren and their mums on Thursday. It was a perfect, warm day for it. The kids had a great time and ended up filthy! That is a sure sign of a good time.
