Family Times

We had a lovely family lunch at a winery last Sunday.

We then celebrated Jack's 8th birthday with presents back at his place. So nice to get a picture of the whole family.

The chidren perfomed in their school concert on a very rainy Tuesday. Luckily it eased a little as we arrived and as we left. All the children did so well. Jack is dressed as a pig as they were told to dress in what makes them happy.

Progress

Best catch up on my stitching projects. A few weeks ago I completed Part 5 of the Owl and Hare Hollow BOM.

I was also working on this liberty scarf for my daughter for her birthday.
I am still enjoying all the paper piecing for Amanda's stitchalong on Instagram.
Lovely to see Brenda's show and tell last Thursday. This bag looks amazing It is a pattern by Wendy Williams.

Brenda has also finished this lovely needlecase!

Stitching weekend

Last weekend, the Wednesday night girls enjoyed a lovely weekend of stitching. We didn't go away but met each day and had a very special time. Thank you Anita and Deanna for organising this for us. We enjoyed the venue and the food and the little special touches that the ladies provided for us.

Deanna even brought along a little shop!

Family

A few weeks ago we headed to Sydney to see Beauty and the Beast. It was fantastic and the three of us had a lovely time in Sydney.

This is the view from our very flash apartment on the 66th floor and there were fireworks in Darling Harbour too.

Here we are catching the train back to Ma's place.

A week before that our school has a fete and it was very exciting to see Benny playing the clarinet in the band.

And a few pictures of the boys.
