Shows

 A few weeks ago some of us headed to Sydney to see Mary Poppins. It was great fun. We stayed one night in Sydney and enjoyed the show and dinner and lunch out. 

Then on Friday this week we saw The Twits here is Canberra. Great fun!

Some show and tell

 Lovely to see what the ladies are working on in my Wednesday stitching groups. Jayne has been making the most lovely fabric roll for her threads with gorgeous houses stitched on the outside.

Janet is making the most amazing outfits for her girls and herself with a cowboy theme. They are so beautifully sewn.

I have been stitching/knitting. I made a pair of socks for Ma. Had to deliver them a bit later than her birthday so the size would be late.

The leftover wool also made some hats to donate to the hospital.

Last week I put a a few little cushions together for gifts or just for me!

Birthdays

 On the weekend we headed to rainy Sydney to celebrate Ma's 91st birthday. Even with the rain and wind we managed to enjoy lunch out.

Our big boys turn 10 today!!! That is hard to believe. They are having a wonderful holiday in the Gold Coast. We celebrated early with them but didn't get any photos.

The children had a pupil free day in the last week of term!! So we headed to Questacon. Sadly so did many other people but we still had a fun time.
