November news

 Now that the holidays are done I can catch up November! While still quite jetlagged I managed to go to the Wharf Revue with Lyndal. It was amazing and I am so glad I went as it is the last one.

A few weeks ago we went to Berrima for our family catch up lunch. It was lovely to see everyone. 

And a couple of the children. Alice, dressed up for Halloween and Jack with his floorball team.

Alice had her first swim in the pool this week.....looking very relaxed.

Last few days away

 On our last few days in Montreal, we had a wonderful lunch at Modavie and caught the bus to explore an area with a canal. The last day we visited the Museum of fine arts. We also had morning tea and lunch at a very cute place with chandelier. We then had a very long day to get home....flight from Montreal to LA, then get the bags and find the international terminal, very long lines to go through security and to cap it off we had to run to Gate 208!!!! It was a very long way away. Thankfully we made it in time to board!

We had a last wander on our travel day and they were constructing these great stars in the cathedral square.

Mont Royale and the Biodome

 On the 26th Ocober we headed by bus to Mont Royale. It was a long walk up and thankfully we didn't take the steps up. Great views of the city! We did take the steps down! It was very chilly and I was very thankful for my knitted socks, gloves, hat, scarf and puffy coat.

On Sunday, 27th October, we went to the Biodome. It was amazing seeing all the animals in their habitats. 

We then wandered down the road and tried Poutine. It is a Canadian dish of chips, gravy and cheese curds. It was OK though Bruce's was better with bacon and sausage.
