Finally....I sent 3 quilts to be quilted a few weeks ago. Lovely to see them almost finished. I then was very motivated to bind and label them! Here they are all finished with pieced backs and labels! They are the Moda Village quilt, started in 2020 during covid, Tiny Treasures quilt using Kathy Schmitz's lovely book and a vanishing 4 patch quilt using French general fabrics. The tops were all done years ago so it feels good to have them finished.

Family weekend
We headed to Bright last Friday for a weekend with the family. It was lovely to spend the weekend with the older relatives and of course, Ma. We met in Bright on Friday for pies in the park. We then settled into Paul and Jeni's house and had a BBQ and even sat around the fire pit.
These are funny. Some of the family hiked up to get another view. Ma and I stayed behind and had planned to get into the car as it was very cold. Sadly I couldn't open our car as the bluetooth wasn't working to the car!!! We were very glad when Richard came and we could shelter in his car.

Weekend away
Last weekend the Thursday Study group headed to the coast for our annual weekend retreat. We enjoyed delicious food, company and lots of chat. Some of us stitched and knitted and some enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Some braved the chilly water and enjoyed a swim. Some went on long walks....not me as I am a bit lazy. Caroline gave us a fabulous demonstration of making foccacia. It was delicious. We started the weekend with delicious morning tea in Braidwood.
We had a special afternoon for the bride to be, Wendy, with a funny stripper skit, some games
