This and that

 I have managed to finish a few things over the last few weeks. I made this lovely pin cushion which was my birthday gift from my dear friend Fiona.

I also made this little purse for Janet's birthday recently.

I was very pleased to collect this quilt from Monika and to bind and label it. It was a delight to make as I love paper piecing and was a lovely sewalong with Amanda on instagram.

We also had a lovely lunch recently for our Thursday group. 

Beth has also finished her gorgeous Anni Downs' bag. 

Last week we had a delightful dinner out to celebrate Barbara's special birthday. 

Family updates

 Before the school holidays the miss received an award and played the drum in the school band.

We also had a lovely family weekend celebrating Ma's 94th birthday and Cameron's and Bruce's birthdays too.

The Perth family have just had an amazing holiday in Malaysia with their good friends. Looks like they had a fabulous time.

Quilt exhibition

A few weeks ago  I met some friends at Craft Alive in Canberra. There were some lovely stalls and it was great to see the quilt Exhibition.

Alice turns 11

 Hard to believe that the little miss turned 11 recently! She celebrated at a delicious Japanese dinner at Raku and then cake at home. She also had a fun party with her friends.

There were lovely school photos too.
