Stitching and holidays

This week has been busy as we are preparing to fly away tomorrow on holidays. It is getting a bit exciting now!! The bags are mostly packed and so is some stitching and even a ball of wool and a crochet hook. We are heading to San Francisco, having a few days in Vancouver, cruising to Alaska and visiting the Denali National Park and then driving from San Francisco out to the Grand Canyon. Looking forward to some amazing scenery! We will certainly miss the family and these little people so much.

I have been trying to catch up on a bit of stitching but am still behind. It doesn't really matter, does it? I have managed to almost catch up the Splendid Sampler blocks just in time to miss 4 weeks of them.

I did manage to applique this block of Foxley Village but the satin stitch leaves are slow going.
I will try to blog while I am away. Hubby is taking his camera so there should be good photos.
