We have had a very good 2016. We have been very lucky to have good health and to be able to enjoy our family, holidays and our many interests, especially stitching and patchwork for me. I don't make resolutions but I am hoping to work on some UFOs this year and finish off some of my many ongoing projects, in between playing with the grandchildren and going on holidays.
This week has been lovely to slowly catch up on a bit of stitching and tidying. But first, let me share some lovely handmade gifts that I received. Fiona sent me this gorgeous pouch in my favourite French general fabrics.
Paddy made me this gorgeous little canvas work decoration!
My daughter, Lyndal, is a fabulous crocheter and she created these decorations (note the hexi in the middle of the green one) and this lovely necklace! So spoilt!
I did make one gift this year. I made this little rabbit for Jack.
I have always wanted to have a go at a hexi necklace to finally made one for myself for Christmas.
This week I have been working on these lovely stitcheries for the bag that Fiona created for our retreat in October. We are doing these projects in class at Hobbysew in February so I thought I have better get the sample made! I do love these Tilda colours and fabrics! I am busy making it up!

ALWAYS love to read your blog, Sylvia - especially as I know both Lyndall and Amy and love to see how their littlies are going! Happy New Year to you and all your family - hope it brings good health, happiness (and maybe some finished UFO's?) XX
