Floriade and some show and tell

Floriade is on again in Canberra and I went last week on Thursday.....it was not a very good day to go. It was rainy and chilly and windy! But we were lucky and managed to wander around without getting wet and you wouldn't know that the weather was bad from the photos. We even managed our picnic under a roofed area while it rained.

These ones were taken the day before, on a lovely warm day, by Bruce with his lovely camera.

It is always nice to see what the Tuesday ladies have been making. Coralee has been busy and has made a lovely French General quilt.
She has also made some lovely pillow cases using the stitching retreat designs. Don't they look great?

It has been lovely to catch up with Tash over the last few weeks while she has been visiting Canberra. It has been very special to meet little Sophia and also to see Alex again. Here is Tash with the lovely quilt she has made for Sophia.
Little Alex moved but it is still a cute picture.
