Lovely work

Another week is almost over! It was good fun starting classes again this week and especially catching up with everyone after such a long break. So inspiring to see the show and tell. Lynda has been very busy and has been working on her zippered pouch. The back of it has been stitched in half inch hexagons!

Lynda also brought in her amazing bunting she has stitched all by hand with foundation pieced borders and using all sorts of lovely Christmas applique and stitching.

In the evening, Margot brought in her gorgeous quilt top. This quilt is a Natalie Bird BOM. Hobbysew had this last year as a BOM and I think the ladies did an amazing job with the fabric choices. and of course, Margot has done a wonderful job with the applique and lots of piecing.
My copy of Homespun came today with the first instalment of Foxley Village, another lovely quilt by Natalie Bird.
Hobbysew is putting together a fabric kit for this quilt! It will be lovely working with the beautiful Tilda fabrics. I might just have put my name down for one!
As everything started this week, I also had the first meeting of my Book Club. We met at Jo's house and we just loved these amazing cushions which were cross stitched in Jordan.

Other than heading out and socialising this week, I have been making lots of kits for our stitching days coming up in just a few weeks.
