Family time

We flew back from the Sunshine Coast and then had a staycation in Sydney catching up with the oldies in the family. Lovely to spend this time with Ma and the other "oldies".....I can say that as I am the oldest. We enjoyed all the meals out which was fun. Dinner at the club on Friday night and we had a lovely day out in Sydney on Saturday when we went to Manly. On Saturday night we had dinner at Lugarno Seafood which was amazing. Sunday breakfast was a bit disappointing as the restauraunt was supposed to be very good!!

We also celebrated Bruce and Richard's birthdays and Ma sang to them, which was very special.

Maroochydore

Last Sunday we flew to Maroochydone to visit Fiona and David. We had a very special time catching up over lovely meals and doing some touristy things too. We took the ferry from Noosaville to Noosa which was fun. Before the ferry we went to a lovely new patchwork shop called Sea_Salt_Sew. We also saw a snake!!!! That was a bit exciting.

I was also very spoilt by Fiona for my birthday. I just love this gorgous kit from Natalie Bird.

Sewing updates and family

Not as much to post about when you are just at home! I have been stitching and working on the Owl and Hare BOM from the Homespun magazine. I have completed Part 1 and am working on Part 2. Lots of hand stitching in this project!

Jayne had her beautiful pouch to share with us last Wednesday. It looks so lovely.

Jack performed in an assembly last Friday. They did so well performing in little plays! Jack was a pig wearing some of Alice's pink clothes.

We also enjoyed having Ma and Deirdre in Canberra on the weekend. We had a lovely dinner together on Friday night and then we went to see Lois and Phoebe in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at their school. Lois was Charlie and did so well.

Then, last night, we went to see John Cleese. It was very funny.
