I was also working on this liberty scarf for my daughter for her birthday.
I am still enjoying all the paper piecing for Amanda's stitchalong on Instagram.
Lovely to see Brenda's show and tell last Thursday. This bag looks amazing It is a pattern by Wendy Williams.

Brenda has also finished this lovely needlecase!

Stitching updates

I have continued working on my Yoko Saito quilt and have appliqued the blocks to the borders and added some trees, lampposts and birds.

I have also had some fun cutting squares for a liberty scarf!

Roni shared this amazing quilt with us last week. It is so beautiful. Pattern by Wendy Williams.

May is almost over and next month is going to be exciting. Firstly a trip to Sydney to see Mamma Mia and then off overseas for our first trip to Europe for several years! Best get my packing done!

Stitching away

Having crafty hobbies certainly helps you in lockdown. I should be doing more but have been plodding away as well as reading and occassionally having a walk.....not often enough! I did walk a long way on Wednesday with Beth and Roni. We walked 8 kms! I was quite sore afterwards but really enjoyed catching up with the ladies. Roni had a little show and tell too. Just check out this amazing scarf, decorated with punch needle circles!

Roni has also made this cute Christmas pillow.

I have made up a few cushions using various stitched fronts. This one was an applique class that I enjoyed with Michelle Hill......many years ago.
These are made using the Love and Hugs stitcheries from last year.

Other than that I have been still enjoying the Tiny Treasures stitcheries. I have even begun putting the hexies together as I keep running out!

We have seen the grandies regularly outside. We meet them for a walk or a picnic which is fun. We are so lucky they live up the road!

Great show and tell

After two busy weekends, our retreat and then a great weekend in Ballan, it is now time to catch up on some lovely show and tell from my classes. Lynne has been busy cross stitching again. Love the blue she has used.
Great to have Roni back last week. She has been busy too. She added a lovely chimney to the little felt house.

Roni also finished her cross stitch decoration and her gorgeous felt scarf. They all look so good. The scarf pattern is one of Anni Downs' patterns.

Marlene has been busy stitching hexagons in all different sizes and has made a runner, a hanging and some decorations.

In the evening, Natalie brought her mum, Allyson to visit our class. Her friend has decorated these bags from Woolworths with suffolk puffs.
Another of her friends made this amazing embroidered needlecase! It is so beautifully embroidered.

Lastly she brought along this embroidered elephant!
