Some stitching progress

Lovely to share a couple of finishes this time. I have been slowly working on my Stitch Therapy 365 quilt and it is now finished! I am very pleased with the finished quilt.

Adrienne has finished hers too. It looks amazing and she did such a fabulous job of the machine quilting.
I have been working on this tree skirt for most of this year and finally finished it. It was very hard knowing when to stop decorating the houses!!!

I bought a frame from Kmart for this little cross stitch.
Loved working on block 6 of The Santa, The tree..... BOM.
To finish off.....gorgeous Autumn colours!!!

Stitching away

I feel like the time flies and not much gets done but there are some slow projects on the go! My tree skirt is getting there slowly. I am not too motivated though I do like it. Anyway here are a few more houses. I know I will enjoy decorating it with stitching soon.

I have enjoyed this cross stitch sampler and it now has its beads. Needs a frame of course.
My quilts, 5 of them, have just come back from the quilter. Two were tacked for hand quilting and 3 were quilted all over.  So The Simple Life needed a label.
I have been binding the United Stitches quilt and it is nearly done.
I also started hand quilting the Stitch Therapy 365 quilt. This will take a while.
Jayne had made a gorgeous pin cushion recently. It is just lovely.
Finally....for the bird lovers, another of hubby's gorgeous pictures

Wonderful quilt

So exciting to see Jayne's amazing quilt last week. It is so beautiful and Jayne has chosen some perfect fabrics and her needleturn applique is so lovely. The photos don't so it justice but worth seeing anyway. It is a pattern by Susan Smith called Fleur,

Roni has finished her lovely cushion with felt applique. I so want one of these. I do love how she has closed the back of the cushion!

I have been busy too. I have finally put my borders on my Stitch Therapy 365 quilt and prepared it and 3 others with backing etc to head to the quilter to be tacked or machine quilted. it is a good job done and one that I had been putting off for ages!!

New Year....

It has been a very different few days in this new year. Canberra has been blanketed in smoke and the news has been so sad as so many lovely places have been ravaged by fire. So sad to hear about the many that have lost their homes.

Today is a bit clearer here and the smoky seems to be leaving our house. We have had many days indoors so I have been trying to get a few ufos finished. My biggest achievement was finishing my Stitch Therapy 365 right on time at the end of 2019. It has been a lovely project to stitch.

These two stitcheries were completed last year and are now little pillows.

I started this cross stitch on my recent cruise and it was nice to make it up.

These three were stitched last January! I was planning to frame them but decided to make them into hangings instead. The nativity one still needs a few buttons sewn on.

Lastly these lovely finishes were from the Wednesday afternoon ladies. I must make one of these bags one day!

Lastly, I will share what summer should look like. The kids are enjoying an iceblock after a swim!

A little stitching...

Not much to report as I have been keeping up with my Stitch Therapy and have started a little Christmas gift stitching. Can't show that yet! Here are my latest blocks.

Audrey has just finished this amazing embroidery that was featured in the latest Molly Makes magazine. She made it a little bigger and stitched it with 1 strand. It is so amazing!
Here are some of the lovely flowers in our garden. It is warming up finally for Spring.
