This and that

Lovely to stitch with all the ladies last Wednesday. So good to see them and very motivating too. Jayne has been busy and has made a gorgeous zippered pouch using the Scrappy Backgrounds pattern.

I just love this cute pencil case that Jayne brought to stitching.
Roni has made excellent use of her scraps and has made this useful drawstring bag.
I put the borders on my Around Town BOM a few weeks ago but forgot to share it.
Here is my progress so far in the Vermont Summer Medallion. It is very addictive.
To finish, here are some of the flowers in our garden, taken with hubby's new camera lense. The garden has been loving the constant rain!!

Still stitching

I am still plodding along with my stitching plans. My United stitches quilt is getting sewn into rows and I do love the Tilda fabrics and how they look with the stitcheries. Here are the first three rows.

I am still enjoying the cross stitch. This is another small stocking in the making.
We have been so fortunate here to be able to catch up with people still. It has been so tough for Melbourne and so exciting that things are opening up again. I do feel for my UK friends as they lock down again!! Hope you all have lots of stitching supplies!! Great to see this lovely pin cushion that Roni finished recently.
We have had very good rain and the garden has been enjoying it very much. Here are some of the flowers that hubby has photographed.

A little stitching...

Not much to report as I have been keeping up with my Stitch Therapy and have started a little Christmas gift stitching. Can't show that yet! Here are my latest blocks.

Audrey has just finished this amazing embroidery that was featured in the latest Molly Makes magazine. She made it a little bigger and stitched it with 1 strand. It is so amazing!
Here are some of the lovely flowers in our garden. It is warming up finally for Spring.

Ma and Pa's garden

Ma and Pa have a lovely back garden. Here is a bit of it. They look out from their family room and can see the Georges River between the trees. It is a lovely outlook.
These visitors come every day to drink, wash and paddle in the water.
I was "forced" into going for a healthy walk down some very steep steps and along beside the river. Sadly it was necessary to go up some more steep steps to get back to Ma and Pa's. As you walk along you could have been anywhere in the Australian bush.
Here is the proof that I did go for the walk!
Here another view of the river.
