Floriade

Normally I share some Floriade pictures at this time of year. Due to Covid times, the main Floriade isn't on but there are smaller ones all around the city. Here are some pictures of the flowers at Canberra Baptist Church.

Floriade

The Thursday group headed into Floriade for our end of term morning tea/lunch. It was a perfect day for it. I even caught the bus in which was very convenient. We enjoyed yummy food, good company and the lovely flowers.

Spring

Spring is certainly here now even though the evenings are still sometimes cool. We had a few lovely outings last week. Bruce and I had a lovely visit to Floriade.

I also had a great day at the Tulip Top Farm with my study friends. The day was perfect and I do enjoy seeing the flowers amidst the blossoms and trees.

On the Sunday before last we also had a great day with Alice and her mummy at the Sailing Club Family day! It was amazing with 4 jumping castles which were free, free popcorn, fairy floss, face painting and even a boat ride around the lake. We did buy some delicious fish and chips for lunch.

Floriade

It is Floriade time in Canberra now and I have been twice over the last few weeks. The first time there were hardly any tulips but last week, quite a few have come out. We enjoyed seeing them with Alice and her mummy on Tuesday. We even went on the ferris wheel!
