Parties and decorations

It has been a busy but special week. There have been several parties to enjoy and a little stitching in between. On Thursday, the Wednesday social ladies headed to Gold Creek for a yummy high tea to celebrate Christmas.
Here are paddy and Donna enjoying their yummy trifles.
On Thursday night we had a great meal together with the Thursday ladies. Marion made the most amazing chocolate roulade for dessert! The mango was delicious too.

I have been trying to get little Jack's stocking made this week! I am about to add some buttons and then put it together.
So my only decorations for this week were another couple of these cute knitted stockings.

Christmas cushion, a bag and gorgeous decorations

Coralee came to social stitching and had her lovely cushion completed! This is the one we did at the stitching day recently. Coralee used a lovely set of charm squares to make her bunting and added a pieced outer border. Looks great.
A lovely customer came into Hobbysew carrying this wonderful felt bag. She made it using some Wendy Williams flowers.

Last night, the Wednesday night class ladies had their end of year party. We were so lucky to be invited to have it at Carol's house. She has such gorgeous decorations and we all enjoyed looking at all the different little groups of decorations on display. I thought you might like to see some of them too.

Many of the amazing Santas were made by Carol's clever sister, Wendy!
These timber reindeers and sleigh were made by Carol's brother. Such a talented family!

Wonderful wedding

We were so thrilled to attend the wedding of Chelsea and Kye on the weekend. The setting at the Crackenback resort and the weather were both perfect for this beautiful bride and handsome groom. It was such a happy wedding.

A bit more stitching...

There were too many things to show in one post this week. We were so impressed with Roni's Santa on Wednesday. It is a Tilda pattern. This is one Santa I am hoping to make.....for next Christmas probably! Isn't he wonderful.

Paddy has finished her beautiful Christmas table mat by Hugs and Kisses.
Paddy has also been making a wonderful stocking for her little granddaughter, Laura. Looks so beautiful.

Beth has been busy too and has finished her lovely Santa bag from the stitching day.

Wonderful stitching

This week has been busy and some of the ladies from Hobbysew have been busy finishing off gorgeous Christmas decorations and gifts. Shirley has finished her Santa hanging and it looks great.
Shirley also brought along this great hanging made by Susan, I think!

Barb has been working on these beautiful stitcheries that are printed and painted ready to stitch.

On Wednesday morning I had the pleasure of having coffee with Lynn and her sister-in-law, Sue. We had a great chat and then Lynn had some gorgeous items to show me all the way from Japan. Sue goes to Japan quite regularly and bought these at the Tokyo quilt show for Lynn! I think this show is definitely on my bucket list!

Sue has been busy too getting ready for Christmas and has made the Singalong bunting for her gorgeous granddaughter, Sunny. Well done, Sue.

And what have I been doing!!!! Not enough stitching obviously. Here is my decoration for this week.  It is another little Lynette Anderson decoration. I have been stitching some other Christmas things but they are secrets at the moment!
