Family Celebration

Last Saturday we headed to Berrima for our Christmas lunch with Ma and the oldies in the family. It was lovely to catch up and be able to spend this time together before Christmas.

This and that

I have been meaning to post for ages. My excuse is that I have been decorating for Christmas. Please remind me later that I have too many decos and need to stop making them!!!! Anyway, here is some show and tell from a few weeks ago. Barbara has made this wonderful quilt for her daughter. It is just gorgeous.

She has also made this delightful cushion too.

Jayne has made all of these delightful projects too. Just so inspiring.

Roni has been busy making Christmas tags and amazing gift bags too!

I have made two Christmas shirts for the boys! Two more to go.
I also made this cutie Santa from MMMCrafts. So fiddly as he is small but terribly cute!
I also finished this strawberry pin cushion by Kathy Schmitz. Great fun to make.

Family time

A few weeks ago ma came to visit for the first time in ages. The lockdown restrictions had eased and it was so lovely to see her in real life. Deirdre and Paul brought her down so we enjoyed a lovely meal at Janelle's with both our families. Lyndal made a lovely cake to celebrate Ma's birthday.

On Monday we went to the Arboretum for morning tea and then to the Old Parliament House Rose Garden.

This is our crazy attempt at a selfie.

There were many other activities too like shopping, lunches out and other outings. It was very chilly here that week (still is) and Janelle took this picture of Ma in her big puffy coat on a walk.
It was lovely to see her and spend time with her. She is so amazing for 90 years old.
