Montreal

We finished our lovely cruise in Montreal. We walked to our apartment and after a little hassle (no front desk person so emails etc) we were able to leave our luggage. We had a nice wander around, had morning tea with a couple we met on the cruise, enjoyed a slice of pizza for lunch and then returned to move in at about 4pm. It was a comfortable apartment. 

On the next day, 25th October, we visited the markets and a few other places. We managed the metro and the buses.

Quebec City

 On the 22nd and 23rd October we were in Quebec City. It was a delightful place to visit and we were very lucky with the weather. We walked all the way up to the hotel/castle but it was well worth the walk.

That night we went to the Azamazing performance in the city. The show, which was like a circus show, was good but we did a lot of waiting around to get bussed there. The next day we caught the local bus to Montmorency falls. This was very worthwhile seeing and in the afternoon we visited the old french quarter, which was lovely.
