Lots happening

The time in December is flying by with decorations, parties and lots of preparations. I have decorated early as the Perth family arrive tonight. The beds are ready and we are looking forward to seeing them. Here are some of the decorations.

On Wednesday at stitching at Beth's we enjoyed seeing her gorgeous displays!

The end of the year has been busy for the family. Jack received an award and the other boys did very well too. Alice performed lots of times at her end of year concert in the band, class item and the choir.

Jack's team also won the Floorball competition.

The miss also performed in her first piano concert.

Family

A few weeks ago we had a lovely lunch with the Ma and the oldies in the family. It was great to chat and see each other.

Then a few of the other family members enjoying some adventures. Lyndal and Alice had a lovely weekend in Sydney with friends and a few of the boys at a variety of activities. Jack also had a great birthday party at a pool.

Lyndal and I also had a great night out seeing Tim Minchin! It was amazing.

A few finishes

I have been knitting and stitching over the last few months. Very pleased with this cardigan for Lyndal for her birthday. I also made her this kindle cover using a lovely pattern by Anni Downs.

I have also started this cute project that is part of the Tilda club. It was very special to get a set of charm squares of the Tilda Christmas range.

I have also blocked this shawl/scarf that I knitted while away. I used leftover wool from the cardigan to make a little jacket and hat for a friend who is having a baby.

Family

The miss played percussion in the school band at the fete a few weeks ago.

The children enjoyed Halloween.

Jack enjoyed competing in a triathlon at school.

The miss made it to another belt at Taekwondo and Ben performed in his last concert for the year.
