Great show and tell and a finish

It was very inspiring at class yesterday as there was so much wonderful show and tell. Roni has been so busy and has quilted her Splendid Sampler using the quilt as you go technique. It looks very good. I wish she would do mine!!!!

Roni has also finished her amazing boro bag.

Jayne has done a beautiful job on her boat for the Seaside town Button club.
Janelle is new to afternoon class and she shared this wonderful hexagon quilt in Tilda fabrics. It was too big to get a picture of all of it.

Lynne has been busy too and has made these lovely bookmarks and this beautiful pencil case.

I went to see my very clever quilter, Robyn, last week and picked up my 3 quilts. I am still working on the others but am very excited to share a "finish"! Anderson's farm is all quilted, bound and even has a label! Just check out the beautiful closeups of the quilting.

There has been a little stitching going on while we have been busy partying. I have managed to finish another little stitchery from United Stitches. This is a slow project and is stitched when there isn't anything else on the go.
I have finally put together the Mother Goose quilt and it is going to the quilters today. I really enjoyed stitching this label for it.
It was exciting to get Part 7 of Dancing Chickens and Flying Pigs last week. Couldn't wait to start it.

Here are the shirts I appliqued for the big boys. They are really into Ninja Turtles these days.

Jayne has been so productive and has made all these wonderful projects from Natalie Bird's new book. She told me she is making everything in the book!

The big boys are 5

We have had a few celebrations over the last few weeks as Benny and Sammy turned 5. Very hard to believe those tiny babies are so big now. We celebrated as a family on their actual birthday.

Then yesterday they had a Ninja Turtle party with some friends. It was good fun and they had a very lovely time. I cut out lots of Ninja Turtle masks and their Mum made some great Ninja Turtle games and created turtle shells from foil trays!

Auntie Lyndal iced the cakes (baked by Mummy) and they looked very good and tasted yummy too.

I made the boys some Ninja Turtle "5" tops! The fabric only came in the post on Friday so they were made in a bit of a rush.
