Little Jack turns 5

On the weekend, our smallest man turned 5. How amazing is that!!! We celebrated as a family on Saturday with cake and a swim.

On Sunday he had his party at home. It was a robot theme and his Mummy made a fantastic cake and prepared some wonderful food. Here are a few pictures of the festivities.

Still stitching

I am still plodding along with my stitching plans. My United stitches quilt is getting sewn into rows and I do love the Tilda fabrics and how they look with the stitcheries. Here are the first three rows.

I am still enjoying the cross stitch. This is another small stocking in the making.
We have been so fortunate here to be able to catch up with people still. It has been so tough for Melbourne and so exciting that things are opening up again. I do feel for my UK friends as they lock down again!! Hope you all have lots of stitching supplies!! Great to see this lovely pin cushion that Roni finished recently.
We have had very good rain and the garden has been enjoying it very much. Here are some of the flowers that hubby has photographed.

Ma visiting

It was fun to catch up with Ma a few weeks ago. She had been on a road trip with her daughter Janelle out to Griffith and other central west places. They had a great time and when they returned it was fun to catch up with her at Janelle's place.

Here are a few of Ma on her adventure. She really is amazing for 89 years old.
