Class projects for term 1

I took the class projects into Hobbysew on Tuesday to display them ready for the coming term. We are having a stitching theme this term as there are so many lovely bits and pieces to make to help us stitch. Here is the stitching bag.

This is a very useful pin cushion. It is one of Fiona's patterns from one of our stitching days.

This is the canvas scissor keeper.

These little dolls can be scissor keepers too or can just be ornaments.

The other 2 Christmas day projects

Here are the three felt decorations that Fiona designed and we are doing them at the day at Hobbysew as well.
There are also these 3 redwork Santas all finished using a different technique.

A bit of stitching

I have been stitching over the last few weeks but the projects are still a little secret for now. This little section is a part of "something", or a few "somethings" that I have been designing for a pattern for Hobbysew. Can't reveal them yet.
!
This little scissor keeper is for a class I am teaching later in the term. We are having a Floriade day at the shop and the projects are all flowery.
This is the back of the scissor keeper.

The rest of the Class projects

Here is Olde time Santa with his bag and favourite teddy.
These are the 2 Christmas canvas works. The left hand one is a design by Lisa and one we did in the Bay a long time ago. Hope it's OK with you, Lisa, to teach it again.
The little decorations are all from the Scrappy bag pattern below. You can make a bag or make lots of little decerations using the stitcheries.
This is the Scrappy bag.
I have the dreaded "lurgy" (another word for a cold) and was supposed to head out to lunch with some friends today and have had to miss out! How disappointing. I am sure they will be pleased not to catch this. I did go out to stitching yesterday and probably shouldn't have. Sorry if I have passed it on to anyone else.

Class Projects for Term 3

The classes are finished for this term. Next term we are making some Christmas projects with the afternoon girls and the night girls might finish these or work on the new Nancy Halverson Christmas book. I hope to make some of those lovely projects too!
This is the Country St Nicholas Hanging.
This is the stamped nativity stitchery. I will stamp it onto some homespun for the ladies. It is very small!
This is a fairly bad picture of the Santa swag. Looks better in person!
Here is the Joyful Nativity which is one of my favourite projects. Ths simple stitcheries are stiffened and baked!
