New year is nearly here

Can't really believe that Christmas is over and we are almost into 2015! We had a quieter Christmas than usual with just Alice and her parents on Christmas day. We had a nice afternoon and evening with lovely gifts and too much food. No photos as we took family ones a few weeks ago when the Perth kids were here. We did miss them and they had a lovely Christmas in their home this year. Here are a few pictures of the boys with their gifts.

And the miss and Alfie, in a Christmas coat, on Christmas morning.

I received some lovely gifts this year. I loved this pouch and canvas work kit from Fiona. Thank you, Fiona. I can also show my gifts that I stitched this year from my secret Santas.

This needlecase was a kit gifted to me for my birthday by Fiona. I loved stitching it so much I stitched two more!

Christmas is nearly here

I have been very lucky this year and went to the Hyatt again last Friday to celebrate with the "Crazy Divas" stitching group. We had a wonderful time of chatting, eating and swapping Secret Santa gifts.

On Sunday evening we went to Carols in the park held each year by Canberra Baptist church.
Finally I had best share the decorating. I have been enjoying seeing it all this year!

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

More celebrations

Last Saturday, we girls went to the Hyatt for our annual high tea. It was lovely and we enjoyed a special afternoon of food and chat.

On Wednesday we had our delightful Christmas party at Beth's place with the afternoon girls. It was lovely. Great food and such special gifts.

I received this gorgeous cross stitch cushion and decoration. Thanks Paddy.
My gift this year was the bigger needlecase and a couple of bought goodies. The needlecase on the right is the one I sent to Fiona.
Then yesterday, the Thursday study group had a lovely Christmas lunch. There was great food and company.
