Venice

 We arrived back at Chioggia on Wednesday 30th April in the afternoon. We then took the ferry into Venice for the afternoon and evening. It was a lovely warm day and we so enjoyed seeing Venice again. We had been here in 1978. We had dinner in town and then headed back to the ship later in the evening. We also enjoyed seeing Pellestrina from the water on the way.

The next day, Thursday 1st May, we walked to the bus stop, caught the bus to the Venice Station (walking over bridges with steps etc with luggage) and caught the train to Trentino.

Kotor Montenegro and Sibernik

 On Monday 28th April we were in Kotor Montenegro. It was a very interesting town and we walked around the walls and enjoyed the lovely old town, along with many others as there were several ships in town.

On Tuesday we were in Sibernik. It was another lovely place to visit in the perfect weather. We also enjoyed an icecream and a delicious coffee.
