Relaxing holiday

We enjoyed our 10 day cruise very much. It was so relaxing, the food was great and we had lovely people on our table at dinner. We also managed to form a great Trivia team and won just a couple of times! I enjoyed reading some books and some crochet and stitching. The best part was being warm for a few days before winter really hits. Today is freezing here! We also saw some lovely places and Bruce snorkeled and I did brave the water a few times. Here are some of his photos of the holiday. It was a lovely evening as we left Sydney.

Our first port was Lifou and it was so lovely. We missed the Isle of Pines as it was too rough to tender in.

Next we headed to Port Vila. We organised a taxi with 2 of our dinner mates, Vaughan and Lorna, and headed to the Blue Lagoon for a swim. It was chillier than last time but still good fun.

We then took a small boat out to Erakor Resort. This was well worth doing and such a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

We had another lovely day at Mare. The water was so clear and beautiful.

As we have been to Noumea a few times we decided to have a relax on the ship.

Bruce got up early to get these pictures of the sail into Sydney.

I hardly took any photos but here are just 2 of the desserts.

Great stitching

Life has been a bit busy here as there has been some renovating of the sewing room. It is a tiny room and everything has to come out so it could be painted etc. Oh dear! There was so much stuff and I had spent the last few weeks trying to tidy and cull things! I want the new room to be tidy and useful so things don't quite fit in as well. I am almost organised and will show you the new cupboards when I get everything where it should be. I now have one of these in my room!
We have seen some great work at the shop over the last few weeks. Joan made this amazing quilt!
 Lesley finished another beautiful decoration.
Roni made this little pouch with the blackwork design from the last stitching day.
Lynne has been amazingly busy and has finished so many lovely Christmas gifts!
She is also now addicted to canvas work and has finished three of these humbugs.
Colleen has made up this lovely bag with the candlewicking on the front.
Josie has just finished this beautiful quilt using a Bromwyn Hayes pattern.
Marlene has made this great runner too.
I have been doing a few things, in between organising, and have made 2 more Splendid Sampler blocks. Not much time for anything else!

Family time

We had a lovely time with Ma and Deirdre on Monday.  All the littlies loved seeing them. I also read a lot of books!

We tried to get the little men to smile for the camera!!!! Not at all easy.
