Back to Brugges

 It is now November and I have so much to share. We are just back from Canada and the US and will have to share that trip later on. We must head back to September and Brugges. On our next day we headed to the chocolate factory which was very interesting. We then caught the bus and headed to Ghent. We did a fabulous boat ride there and enjoyed an amazing waffle for lunch. 

On our last day in Brugges, 19th September, we visited the lovely quilt shop, Gobelincreatif which was a delight. We then went to the Lace museum which was also wonderful. We enjoyed our final dinner in the square then headed to Cologne. I made a few hexies on the bus.

Luxembourg and Bruges

 On Sunday 15th  September, we went by bus to Luxembourg. Some of us walked into town and had lunch and then we did a walking tour.

The next morning we headed to Bruges or Brugges.....both seem correct. I did a bit of stitching on the bus. On the way we went into Brussels and enjoyed a yummy lunch.

That evening we enjoyed a drink and nibblies in the wonderful Bruges square and then had a delicious waffle for dinner!

On Tuesday we did a very good walking tour of Bruges. Amazing sights and wonderful history.
