Family celebrations

We have had a busy but delightful time here with Amy and the boys visiting from Perth. They had an overnight visit to Ma and then came to us on Saturday, 7th December.

They then had a busy week of shopping, swimming in the pool and visiting us and their friends here in Canberra. We also celebrated Christmas on Sunday before they flew home on Tuesday.

Christmas celebration

On Thursday, the Wednesday night girls celebrated at the Hyatt for High tea. We had a delightful time chatting and eating the afternoon away. There were also gorgeous gifts.

We also stitched as usual on Wednesday afternoon and just loved seeing Beth's gorgeous decorations.

This was my little gift for our party along with a little Christmas plate.

This and that

Lovely to be able to share a bit if stitching. I have finished the little bag that we started on the Patchwork tour. It is very cute. I have been working on the quilt too but it is not all put together yet.

It is always a delight and very motivating to see the stitching ladies' show and tell. Roni has been busy making these lovely decorations.

Jayne had this delightful bag with her recently. So gorgeous.
We are very proud of Ben as he has read 4 million words!!! So special to see him loving reading.

Mr Jack had a birthday last week and is 9!!!

These big boys head off to high school next year, which is hard to believe. They are heading to a special service in the Perth Cathedral to celebrate them.
Here are the boys on their last day of school.
Very proud of Benny who received an award!
Jack and his mates were winners at floorball.
Recently the miss and the family headed to the coast on a weekend away. Alice had a great time.
Here is the miss with Alfie and her Christmas tree.
