On Wednesday, 14th June we caught the train and boat to Melk Abbey. It was a perfect day and the views along the river were amazing. We walked up (quite a long way up) to the abbey and enjoyed seeing it all. It was amazing. We then caught the train back to Vienna.
On Tuesday, 13th May, we did separate things. I went to the Sisi Exhibition in the Hofburg Palace which was very interesting. After that we went into the National Library which was amazing and had a display of the history of Austria in photographs.
On Sunday 11th May, we packed up and caught the train to Vienna. We were in a two bedroom apartment close to public transport. Started off ok but ended up a bit disasterous. There was no internet to start with and then the electricity went off to the bathrooms and laundry which meant there was not hot water! The first two days we got a shower and then it want off to those rooms completely. It was very disappointing. The dishwasher also didn't work. Still, we were in Vienna and we made the best of it all. After we arrived we went into the city for a wander and dinner.
