On Friday, 16th May, we checked out of the unsatisfactory apartment and put our bags into storage and had another wander around Vienna. I had my first german sausage in a roll for lunch and it didn't disappoint. We had arranged to meet my cousin's daughter in the afternoon at the Belvedere Palace. We enjoyed a yummy afternoon tea, had a wander in the gardens and then headed into town for a drink. It was lovely to see Renate as she had visited Australia a long time ago and stayed with us in Canberra.
We then caught the train to the airport ready for our long flights home. We arrived home on Sunday morning and having a shower was very good!!!
