After our week in Perth we boarded the Crown Princess to sail to Sydney. It was a very relaxing cruise though it was a bit crowded (lots of passengers and less public space) but we still found nice places to sit and to relax. It was of course nice not to have to cook etc. Our first stop was Busselton which was a tender port so we stayed on board. We enjoyed a whale watching cruise in Albany which was great. After the cruise we wandered up the street.
We then headed across the bight to Adelaide. The seas were calm which was good. We went in to Adelaide and visited the Botanic Gardens and a quick wander at the shops. Enjoyed a coffee and a cake too.
We then headed to Melbourne where we enjoyed coffee at Brunettis and then a visit to the art gallery.
Our last stop was Hobart. It was cool and wet but I headed to A stitch in Time to enjoy this lovely embroidery shop. Silly me didn't take any photos! Bruce went to the Botanic gardens. It was nice to get back to the ship to dry out.
We don't always go to the shows but they had two amazing bands who performed on board. In Melbourne they were a group called Austral and they were great. In Hobart the Trawlermen came on board and we so enjoyed them. We then sailed to Sydney and took the bus home.
