I have been stitching a little lately in between all the sadness of the past week. Mostly it is secret stitching for our Stitching on the lake days on 28 March and 11 April. There are still places on both days so email me if you are interested in coming. I did enjoy stitching these hexies in Japanese yarn dyed fabrics recently.
I was very pleased to finally receive my 2014 blog book. I ordered it in early January and this time it went back to the US and had to be sent again. It is fun to see all the stitching, holidays, grandies and bits and pieces shared over the year.We had class again this week and Sue has been busy making this lovely bright quilt for her new grandchild who will be here soon.
Lynn came into the shop recently and showed me these wonderful purses which her sister bought her in Japan. They are just so beautifully made.

Your blog book looks great and those Japanese purses are pretty.
love my blog books..........
Your book looks great ... I must finish off that design on the front cover one day !!! And I do love those little Japanese purses !!
I can imagine how pleased you are with your blog book. I have 3 so far, for the first 3 years of my blog; I am behind with the rest, but I will get around to it. It is nice to look back and remind yourself all those nice days stitching and all the other things you put on your blog :-)
Sylvia you have prompted me to order my latest blog book. I have a book each for my first three years of blogging and I'm embarrassed to tell you the one I ordered today is 5 years of blogging exactly and it's only as big as my first year of blogging book. Eight years of blogging have sped by, so much fun. I really love having the books, kind of like a modern diary and will hopefully be nice for the next generation to see how I lived and spent my days being creative.
