Lovely stitching...

We enjoyed seeing the show and tell at class this week. So much lovely work that makes me want to pelt home to sew! Roni finished her gorgeous boro purse kit and it looks great.

Lynne is amazing with how many things she achieves. We all loved this little hanging with baskets in a red, black and white theme.
We also wanted to steal these little baskets! Lynne made them bigger than the originals and they are just great for holding lots of chocolates. Lynne even brought some choccies in one for us to share.

We also loved these cross stitches. Lynne is going to make them into a large folder to hold her "works in progress".

Lynda has also been busy....still making wonderful things for her new grandchild to be. This lovely quilt is so soft and cosy as it is made in flannel with minky appliques.
I have still been stitching a few Secret Santa gifts but in between I have been working on an old UFO. This bunting is a Rosalie Dekker design and when I started years ago, I didn't like how the white stitching looks untidy.....it is not as forgiving as a darker colour. I just decided that I was pushing on regardless and am pleased now with the result. Just don't look too close!
