Last day in Paris

Our last full day in Paris and it rained. We had been very lucky to have dry weather even if a bit cooler than hoped for.The boys decided to go on the Fat Tires day tour of Paris and came home very damp! We headed off with our umbrellas and checked out some lovely streets and some wonderful shops too. In the evening we had a wonderful meal at the 'railway cafe' called Le Train Bleu at the Gare de Lyon. It was so amazing. The food was great but the actual restaurant was absolutely amazing. This first picture is the station.

 It is so beautifully painted and decorated for train travellers in 1900.

It was a very special way to end our stay in Paris. The next morning we took the Eurostar to London, picked up our car and headed to Lincoln.
