On Thursday, 29th June, we picked up our hire car and drove slowly out of London. It was a fairly long day. We stopped at a pub just off the road for lunch of enormous sandwiches. It was amusing as the pub seemed to be run by a mini dachsund called Digby. We then headed to the North Norfolk Railway as we had booked a cream tea on a steam train. Too much cake and scones but good fun!
We had a quick wander around Sheringham and bought some easy dinner and then headed to our B&B in Little Plumstead. This is the view from the window.
On Friday, 30th June, we went to Great Yarmouth to go to the Elizabethan House Museum. The museum was very good but the town seems to be in decline. We have never seen so many mobility scooters before. There were hardly any coffee shops either but we found coffee at a church run cafe.
We bought some lunch at Boots as we were going on a Broads boat Tour from Wroxham. It was very interesting.
We then went home for a rest and headed to our cute, pink pub nearby for a delicious dinner. The servings were huge but we tried our best!
