We had a lovely day on Wednesday, 28th June. In the morning we went to the British Library to see the treasures. They were amazing! Hard to take photos but here is one which was illustrated by William Morris.
We then caught the bus to the Oxo Tower for a special lunch for Bruce's big birthday. Our lovely girls oganised this for us. It was very flash! The view from our table was amazing and the food was so delicious and beautifully presented.
Afterwards we visited the Portrait Gallery. So many wonderful portraits.
We then caught a local bus that takes you round some of the sights and that was fun. We only needed a very small, easy dinner that night.
