Even more....

Terrie has started stitching this lovely BOM, Saltbox Farm, by Natalie Bird. I have this one on my wish list for later on. It is looking very good.
She also brought in these gorgeous stitcheries by Lynette Anderson. I think they are called Seasons. I feel sure they are in my pattern file as well.

In the evening, Margaret brought in this lovely quilt that her Mum has made for her next great grandchild. The little person is due in July, I think. She has used some William Morris fabrics. How special is that!

More lovely stitching

On Wednesday afternoon, Ronnie brought along her finished canvas work strawberry. It looks great.
She has also had fun making this reindeer. His body is punch needled and then she appliqued the scarf and feet and embroidered the rest. He turned out very well.
Barb has been busy too and finished her first punch needle project and made up this little Santa.
She has also stitched these lovely elves!

It was nice to see some My Town progress too. Terrie brought her blocks to share with us.

She is still working on the Teahouse.
Karen has been VERY busy and has stitched these lovely stitcheries to go in the corners of her My Town quilt. They will look very effective.

Lots of Show and Tell

This week I remembered my camera on Tuesday and Wednesday so I can share all the inspiring show and tell! Shirley had finished these two stitcheries from the last few stitching days. Hasn't she done a lovely job.

Sandra is a very clever patchworker and quilter and has made this amazing quilt.
The afternoon class was very inspiring this week. It just makes you want to get stitching!  These are Karen's first two blocks of the Quiltaid quilt that Hobbysew has been involved in this year. What a beautiful quilt this will be.

Karen brought this gorgous sashiko runner last week. I am so glad she brought it again so I can blog it.

I'll share some more tomorrow!

Mother's day, magazines and a little stitching

We had a special afternoon tea for Mother's day with the family. Lyndal made her yummy apple cake and they all gave me this lovely aeroplane charm for my bracelet. I do like flying off to different places.
Had afternoon tea with Sue on Friday too. It was lovely to catch up and she gave me these lovely magazines to read. I have been enjoying them.
I have been stitching a little and just kept working on my Some Kind of Wonderful blocks. I am of course putting off the piecing!!!!

Wednesday Night and......

Can't believe it is Wednesday again! I haven't even shared last week's show and tell from Wednesday night. Sally has finished this gorgeous hanging for her little granddaughter.
Anita has made up her sewing pocket from the stitching day. She chose to stitch it in red and it matches her fabric well.
I was so lucky this week as I won this great magazine in a giveaway but Gail. Thanks so much for having such a lovely giveaway, Gail.
It even has one of Gail's designs in the magazine!
I have been stitching a bit and managed to applique and stitch the best friends block from Some Kind of Wonderful.
I have become a bit hooked on this game though. My girls play and you get to draw and guess...a bit like pictionary but you do it on a tablet, phone or ipad. Luckily hubby has a tablet so I can play!

Stitching and classes

Finally had time to check my camera and I found some lovely stitching photos from recent weeks. Gwen had finished her needle roll last week and it looks lovely.
The Tuesday stitching girls have been busy too. Barbara is having a lovely time punch needling these lovely pears. This is what you see underneath your work and is the right side. Isn't the shading great?
Josie has been busy finishing off some older projects and here is her Christmas hanger.
Helen has been colouring and stitching this lovely stitchery from our stitching day.
It was great to catch up with the afternoon class girls too. Karen has been very busy embroidering this absolutely gorgeous pillow case.
An order came in that day too and we have these wonderful Perfect Circles in stock. They are so useful for needleturn as they are thin and plastic but can be ironed! I find the small ones very useful for needleturned circles.
