Monmouth, Kymin and Symonds Yat Rock

On Monday, 23rd April, Penny, Bruce and I went to Monmouth. We saw the old bridge and gate and had a delicious bowl of soup for lunch in one of the cafes. The soup was perfect as it was a little chilly.
We then went to the Kymin round house, which was built in the 1790's for a wealthy men's club who enjoyed coming up here and having a banquet with a view. It was great to hear the history of this place from a very interesting National Trust volunteer.

We then went up to Symonds Yat Rock to check out the view from there over the river.

On Tuesday, John and Bruce went for a walk while Penny and I headed into Hereford for lunch and a look at the shops.
