On Tuesday, 4th July, we travelled across the UK to Cusop, near Hay on Wye. We stopped at Rugby for a light lunch and then in Worcester. Worcester is a lovely town with lots of history and many Tudor buildings. We visited the Greyfriars house which was built in the 1490s. It was nearly pulled down in the 1930s and 1940s but was saved by Elsie and Matley Moore. They were a brother and sister who decorated the house with salvaged furniture and Elsie's embroideries and paintings. It was a delight to see it.
We then headed to Penny and John's lovely house in Cusop. The next day we went to the Confetti Fields at Wyke Manor Estate near Pershore. It was so lovely and colourful.
