Porthleven, Truro and Lizard Point

After our big day of travel we arrived at our cottage near Helston in Cornwall. This is the view from the front door.

 We headed into the lovely little town of Porthleven for dinner. The local fish and chip shop had a long line of customers so we knew the food would be good. We enjoyed the fish and chips outdoors as it was a lovely evening.

 On Sunday, 19 July, we headed into Truro. We visited the cathedral which is lovely.

Some of the gorgeous embroidery in the cathedral and I did love the tiles too.

In the afternoon we walked from Lizard Point to Kynance Cove. Wonderful scenery but it was a long walk (for me anyway!).
